The integration of Valtek Corporation (established in 1991, a trusted manufacturer of Gate, Globe, Swing Check, and High-Performance Butterfly Valves) further strengthens Ashwa Energy’s portfolio, enabling it to serve diverse industries such as fertilizers, pulp & paper, thermal power, chemicals, and nuclear sectors.

AAC
BLOCKS
Manufactured in our state-of-the-art plant at Belur Industrial Area, Dharwad, with German technology and a capacity of 1.8 lakh cubic meters per year. Our AAC blocks are lightweight, durable, and sustainable —reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50%.
Construction Equipment Attachments
We design and manufacture robust JCB buckets and attachments that ensure high performance, durability, and efficiency at worksites.
Industrial Valves
(Valtek Division)
With over 30 years of expertise, our valve division provides world-class flow control solutions, certified under ISO 9001:2000 by TÜV Nord, Germany.
Sustainability & Responsibility

By using fly ash, an industrial by-product, in our AAC block production, we reduce landfill waste and minimize the carbon footprint of construction. OUR TEAM
Basavaraj Bommai
Managing Director
Mr. Basavaraj S. Bommai, Managing Director of Ashwa Energy Pvt. Ltd. and Valtek Pvt. Ltd., is both an accomplished industrialist and experienced political leader with strong technical foundations. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from BVB College, Hubli, he began his career with Tata Motors in Pune, later turning entrepreneur. Politically, he started with the Janata Dal, served twice as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Council (1998 and 2004), before joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2008. Since then, he has been elected multiple times as MLA from the Shiggaon constituency, and has held key ministerial portfolios including Water Resources, Home Affairs, Law & Parliamentary Affairs, and Cooperation. He served as the 23rd Chief Minister of Karnataka from July 2021 to May 2023. Beyond offices held, Mr. Bommai is also recognized for his contributions to irrigation projects, governance, and social/community leadership, bridging the spheres of business, politics, and public service.
Bharat Bommai
Executive Director
Mr. Bharath Bommai, Executive Director of Ashwa Energy Pvt. Ltd., is a visionary entrepreneur known for his innovative leadership and global perspective. A prodigy who earned a Diploma in Software Engineering at age 14, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, USA, and an MBA in Innovation from Singapore Management University. His early career at NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd (a Tata Steel Enterprise) in Singapore gave him valuable international exposure, where he developed strategies in business development and M&A. As a next-generation industrial leader, Mr. Bommai has been instrumental in modernizing and diversifying the Ashwa Group’s ventures across manufacturing, automation, and technology-driven industries. Recognized for his achievements worldwide, he has proudly represented India at the Global Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C., New York, and at the United Nations, reflecting his passion for innovation, youth empowerment, and sustainable growth.
Kashinath
Executive Director
Mr. Kashinath Hadimani serves as the Executive Director of Ashwa Energy, bringing with him over 25 years of rich experience in the valve industry. A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from BVB Engineering College, Hubli, Mr. Hadimani has built a distinguished career marked by technical excellence, innovation, and leadership in industrial engineering. His deep expertise in product design, quality control, and manufacturing processes plays a pivotal role in driving Ashwa Energy’s commitment to delivering reliable and high-performance industrial solutions. With his strong engineering foundation and decades of hands-on industry experience, Mr. Hadimani continues to guide the company’s technical vision toward greater efficiency and innovation.
